Supplies

Gone are the days when getting Ingredients in India was really difficult.

I remember when we waited for people to come all the way from United states to get our ingredients.

Yeast, Malt and Hops and Equipment -

Most ingredients are now available online in India
But if you have a friends travelling from the west, its the best way to get your yeast and hops. Lure them with a couple of homebrews and they will be happy to be your courier service.

Water

Use filtered and clean water which is free of any chemicals for brewing.
Water from AquaGuard does the job.

Note : I am not associated with any of the stores above. This is just to help homebrewers get their supplies easily.

Please do not contact me for any interaction with these sites.

Most if the yeast present on ebay is bread yeast or medical yeast.
It is not useful for brewing beer.

    1. Thanks Russell,

Most stuff is now available locally here in India on the websites above.
So unless we need some special variety of hops / Yeast, ordering from New Zealand can be very expensive.

    2. Hey, After going throw all the suppliers available in India, the price that they are offering at sound's ridicullous.
Also tried looking for distiller's yeast to make home brewing reasonable yet hav'nt been successful.
Best option I found on amazon was a distiller's yeast called red star DADY i.e.INR 2000 for a 450 gm pack.
